My Approach to Counselling
Claritas Counselling is based on my own ethical, moral and professional framework. This framework is built on trust, honesty, confidentiality, integrity, compassion and care. I believe passionately in the rewards of counselling to individuals and can reflect on this with honesty after receiving counselling at different times in life, for different traumas I faced and experienced.
My focus is to establish an accepting and trusting relationship with each client and to offer a calm, safe, non-judgmental therapeutic space where your unique experiences of life will be heard, and your emotional wellbeing will be supported. As a counsellor I will not judge you but will listen to you, accept and respect you as you are. Person Centred Counselling is a talking and listening counselling therapy, and as the client you will be in control of what is discussed and the pace at which the therapy proceeds.

Working Ethically
I am qualified to degree level and am a Registered Member (MBACP) of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, adhering to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I regularly attend continuous professional development training and am supervised by a qualified supervisor as part of my professional status. I am fully insured.
Where I work
I practice from home, situated in Warrington. My practice space at home is private and accessible, with off-street parking.
